John Squirrel (Wagi ta ga mig) Student File

Student file of John Squirrel, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 30, 1910 and ultimately departed on April 20, 1914. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains an application for enrollment, trade/position record card, medical/physical records, student information cards, a progress/conduct card, an outing evaluation, financial transactions, and correspondence. The file indicates Martin trained as a track athlete while at school and was living in White Earth, Minnesota in 1913 and 1916.
