George Kowice Student File

Student file of George Kowice, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on October 4, 1885 and departed on July 8, 1889. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey and a report after leaving. According to the information provided, Kowice was living in an adobe house and farming with his wife and children in Casa Blanca, New Mexico in 1910.

In school documentation George Kowice is also known as Kowice, George Analla, George K. Analla, and George Kowice Analla.

Note: In 1904, George is listed under the name George K. Analla, as the home address of student James Taogoa, who also at this time is going by the name James Taogoa Kowice. In a 1910 document in his file, George refers to James as his brother, and signs himself as George K. Analla.
