Student information card of George Bears Arm, a member of the Hidatsa Nation, who entered the school on November 3, 1901 and died on January 8, 1903. Bears Arm is buried in the cemetery on the school grounds.
In school documentation George Bears Arm's name is also spelled George Bear's Arms, George Bear's Arm, and George Bearsarms.
Note: Although this card shows Gros Ventre, a member of the Fort Berthold community has indicated that this individual is actually Hidatsa.
