The file includes a trade/position record card, a news clipping, a student information card, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, correspondence, a report after leaving, and a progress/conduct card. The records indicate Pappan was a farmer in Pawnee, Oklahoma as well as traveling and at a French Dry Cleaners in Los Angeles, California and in a hotel in 1912 as well as working at one of the best restaurants in San Francisco, California.
