Cecil (Red Medicine) Student Information Card

Student information card of Cecil (Red Medicine), a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and departed on September 18, 1883.

Note: While this card has Cecil's cause of departure as "death," that is not included in his other information card and so far we cannot confirm that he died at the school. No other information yet discovered mentions his death at the school. It seems likely he died after leaving (perhaps soon after leaving), and the word "dead" was written on other cards and mistakenly transferred to this one as the cause of departure.
