Antonio Tapia Student File

Student file of Antonio Tapia, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on September 8, 1893, graduated in 1901, and departed on March 19, 1901. The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, a returned student survey, and a letter/correspondence. The file indicates that Tapia was a black smith and working at home in Pojoaque, New Mexico in 1907, was teaching at a Santa Fe, New Mexico District School in 1909 while also serving as an interpreter, and was a night watch in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1910.

A direct descendant has indicated that Antonio Tapia was actually from Pojoaque Pueblo, not Laguna. The tag for Pueblo (Pojoaque) has been added to this record.
