Student information card of Alvan (One That Kills Horse), a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and died on March 29, 1882 while attending the school. He was buried in the cemetery on the school grounds.
Note: In a letter describing the first students to arrive, Pratt refers to this student as Sunka-wa-ken-ktah and One That Kills Horse. The student's band is identified as Brule.
