Louis Godfrey Student File

Student file of Louis Godfrey, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 2, 1914 and died on December 5, 1917 following an operation at the Carlisle town hospital. The file contains student information cards, newspaper clippings, correspondence, a federal financial aid form, certificates of promotion, an outing record, financial transactions, an application for enrollment, and an outing evaluation. The files indicate that Godfrey played football while at Carlisle.

In school documentation Louis Godfrey's name is also spelled Louis Godfry. He is also known as L. Vincent Godfrey, and Louis Vincent Godfrey.
