Clarence Welch Student File

Student file of Clarence Welch, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on September 16, 1913, and ultimately departed on July 5, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and re-entered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, correspondence, physical records, financial transactions, an outing record, and a certificate of promotion. The files indicate Welch was interested in furthering his education after leaving Carlisle. 

In school documentation Clarence Welch's name is also spelled Clarence Welsh. He is also known as Clarence G. Welch.
