Aniseto Ortego Student File

Student file of Aniseto Ortego, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on October 15, 1910 and ultimately departed on November 3, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a federal financial aid form, financial transactions, a trade/position record card, a photograph, applications for enrollment, a returned student survey, medical/physical records, a progress/conduct card, outing evaluations, outing records, and correspondence. The file indicates Ortego enlisted in the U.S. Army and was attached to 316th Infantry Co. C. stationed at Camp Meade, Maryland in 1917 and 1918.

In school documentation Aniseto Ortego's name is also spelled Aniseto M. Ortega, Amiseto Ortego Aniseto Ortega, Anaseto Ortega, Anisteto Artago, Aenieseto Ortago, Aniseta Ortego, and Anistero Ortego. He is also known as John Anistato Ortago, John Ortego, and John Aniseto Ortego.
