Daniel Arapahoe Student File

Student file of Daniel Arapahoe, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on May 12, 1911 and ultimately departed on January 8, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a federal financial aid form, outing evaluations, outing records, a physical record card, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, and correspondence. The file indicates Arapahoe received a third prize from the Commissioner of Indian Affairs for a contest in Home Building essays and was living in Pine Ridge, South Dakota in 1917.

In school documentation Daniel Arapahoe's name is also spelled Daniel Arapaho. He is also known as Dan Arapahoe.
