Carlisle Indian School Superintendent John Francis Jr. requests additional funds be allotted to the "Indian School Transportation 1918" account. Assistant Commissioner of Indian Affairs E. B. Meritt informs Francis that there's no money to give him and suggests he uses Class IV moneys to cover his expenses.
Francis informs Meritt that he is trying hard to make ends meet and asks about the possibility of transferring funds from "Indian School Transportation 1917" to "Indian Moneys Proceeds of Labor, Carlisle School." Meritt informs Francis that he could transfer funds from "Miscellaneous Receipts Class 4 School" to "Indian School Transportation, 1917.
