Chester Arthur Student Information Card

Student information card of Chester Arthur, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879 and departed on July 1, 1882. Although the cause of departure on this card says "death," that is almost certainly a error made when this card was created and Arthur returned home on that date. 

Note: In a letter describing the first students to enter the school, it seems likely that this student was identified by Pratt as Chastine. That student was also 15 and of the Cheyenne nation. No further information was provided.
