Pratt Objects to Inputs for the 1890 Annual Report

Date
January 22, 1891

Richard Henry Pratt writes personally to Thomas J. Morgan to object to the method used to calculate the costs in educating students at the various Indian Schools. Pratt notes that in the 1890 Annual Report all costs for Carlisle were represented while other schools did not have certain costs factored into their calculation skewing the results. In particular, he requests that the cost of supplies for Western schools be included in order to balance the cost of transporting students to Carlisle.
