Student information cards of Lucy Ashland, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1912 and ultimately departed on August 28, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The card indicates Ashland transferred to the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas upon the closure of the Carlisle Indian School.
Note: Although one card shows an arrival date of September 8, the admissions ledger and other cards suggest that she actually arrived on September 21.
