Joseph Harris Student File

Student file of Joseph Harris, a member of the Gros Ventre Nation, who entered the school on April 2, 1881, graduated in 1889, and departed on July 16, 1892. The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, former student response postcards, a report after leaving, returned student surveys, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Harris attended the Middletown Township in 1890, worked at the Carlisle Indian School and the Genoa Indian School in Genoa, Nebraska as a printer, and was a farm laborer in Langhorne, Pennsylvania in 1912 and 1913.
