The file also indicates that Rogers attended the Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall), Dickinson College, Dickinson School of Law, and the University of Minnesota Law School, was practicing law in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1907, was an attorney at law in Walker, Minnesota from 1909 to 1913, and was elected to the head chief of the Chippewas in 1913.
In school documentation Edward Rogers' name is also spelled Edward L. Rogers, E. L. Rodgers, Edward Lowell Rogers, and Ed Rogers. He is also known as Enwwayie dung.
