Leander Gansworth Student File

Student file of Leander Gansworth, a member of the Tuscarora Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1892, graduated in 1896, and ultimately departed on September 30, 1896. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, former student response postcards, a trade/position record card, news clippings, returned student surveys, a report after leaving, and correspondence.

The file indicates Gansworth was the foreman of the Carlisle School Printing Office for two years, was the head of the Linotype Composition Company in Davenport, Iowa in 1913, and was the physical director with the American Expeditionary Force stationed at the YMCA College in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1918.

In school documentation Leander Gansworth is also known as Leadner N. Gansworth or L. N. Gansworth.
