Note: There was another student named McKinely Ross who also entered the school in 1916. That student was identified as a member of the Cherokee Nation. Although the application for the McKinley Ross documented in this file says he was a a member of the Cherokee Nation, all his other documentation identifies him as Creek. They definitely seem to be two different people with the same name entering in the same year, as indicated by the addition of "#2" at times in this student's records to distinguish them.
