This issue focused on agriculture. The opening editorial statements covered "the Indian as a Farmer" and the ownership of land. The following press comments were pulled from publications such as The Outlook, The Oklahoman, South Dakota's Daily Republican, Christian Science Monitor, Minnesota's Duluth Herald, The Spokesman Review (Spokane, Washington), etc. and highlighted the agricultural success of Indians, and the proliferation of Indian agricultural exhibits at state fairs.
Once such article, from The Farming Business, told the story of a group of girls from the Chemawa school who won a canning competition and other children at Indian schools who had won other prizes. In the final article, Key Wolf wrote about "responsibility" of the Indian to utilize his education on the reservations in order to create successful farm.
