The second page had news of returned students whose terms at Carlisle were completed, including Minnie Swallow Bear, Annie Menaul, and Thomas Rester. There were also more problems with the printing press and the Union Debating Club's proceedings were shared. Page three included more news about improvements to buildings and grounds, Apache babies Katie Kinshone and Eunice Sose, and visits by the Longstreth sisters of Philadelphia, among others.
