Dispute Regarding Funds and Accounts for 1913

Date
May 26, 1913 - June 12, 1913

Carlisle Indian School Superintendent Moses Friedman provides a list of appropriations needed for running the school for 1913 and requests that the Commissioner of Indian Affairs sends him a statement of warehouse invoices and explains why he changed a certain fund.

Chief of the Finance Division H. Dimick provides Friedman with his records of the school's finances and explains that things from the "Indian School, Carlisle, PA., 1913" account were paid for from the "Indian Moneys, Proceeds of Labor, Carlisle School" account because the first one was insufficient.

Friedman later informs the Commissioner that that all supplies have been delivered to the warehouses and requests that any unexpended balance of the "Indian School, Carlisle, Pa., 1913" and "Repairs and Improvements" accounts be placed to his official credit.
