Parade in Philadelphia, 1887

A parade down Market Street in Philadelphia, with Indian chiefs on horseback in the middle and a group of Carlisle students in the distance, with crowds and buildings on both sides of the street. The photograph was probably taken on September 15, 1887 when the band and students marched in a parade in Philadelphia to commemorate the centennial of the adoption of the Constitution.
