Thomas Burns Prairie Student File

Student file of Thomas Burns Prairie, a student from South Dakota. The file contains a medical/physical record and correspondence. Other documentation shows that Burns Prairie was a member of the Sioux nation who arrived on September 12, 1913 and transferred to Haskell Indian School upon the closure of Carlisle.

In school documentation Thomas Burns Prairie's name is also spelled Thomas Burns-Prairie, Thomas Burnsprarie, and Thomas Burnsprairie. He is also known as Tom Burns Prairie.

Note: Thomas Burns Prairie and the student Edward Burns Prairie were brothers.
