Sadie Ingalls (Po-naw-po-qua) Student File

Student file of Sadie Ingalls, a member of the Sac & Fox Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1906 and ultimately departed on September 3, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a former student response postcard, outing records, financial transactions, a report after leaving, a progress/conduct card, a returned student survey, and correspondence. The file indicates that Ingalls won first prize in an essay contest on Home Building in 1913, graduated in 1913, was a student at the Banks Business College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1914 and 1915, and was living in Washington D. C. in 1917.

In school documentation Sadie Ingalls' name is also spelled Sadie Ingles. She is also known as Sadie M. Ingalls (spelled once as Sarah M. Ingalls) and Po-naw-po-qua.
