Ruth Lydick Student File

Student File of Ruth Lydick, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 23, 1906 and ultimately departed on June 3, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a former student response postcard, progress/conduct cards, a news clipping, a report after leaving that indicates Lydick was a housewife in Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1913.

In school documentation Ruth Lydick's married name is Ruth LaFontaine (Mrs. Leo LaFontaine).
