Rose Whipper Student File

Student file of Rose Whipper, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 20, 1906 and ultimately departed on May 11, 1914. The file contains an application for enrollment, student information cards, outing evaluations, a progress/conduct card, outing records, financial transactions, a returned student survey, and correspondence. The file indicates that Whipper attended the YMCA convention in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 1914, and was a student at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota in 1914. By 1917, Whipper was a seamstress in the Browning School in Browning, Montana.

In school documentation Rose Whipper is also known as Rose Letha Whipper, Rose L. Whipper, and Rosa Whipper.
