Mabel Buck Student File

Student file of Mabel Buck, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on April 15, 1890, graduated in 1897, and ultimately departed on May 16, 1898. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, a report after leaving, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Buck was a housewife in Cantonment, Oklahoma in 1910 and a housewife in Pawhuska, Oklahoma from 1911 to 1913.

In school documentation Mabel Buck is also known as Mable M. Buck. Her married name is Mabel Block or Mabel M. Block (Mrs. Robert Block).

Note: Buck married fellow student Robert C. Block.
