Louise Blue Sky Student File

Student file of Louise Blue Sky, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on January 9, 1910, graduated in 1914, and departed April 7, 1914. The file includes newspaper clippings, student information cards, a trade/position record card, a progress/conduct card, correspondence, medical/physical records, applications for enrollment, a returned student survey, financial transactions, an outing record, outing evaluations, and a former student response postcard. The file indicates that Blue Sky attended boarding school under the guidance of Miss Estaine De Peltguestangue in 1914 and then went on to study at both Kauke Hall University in Wooster, Idaho and Wooster College in Wooster, Ohio. She also worked at Rosebud School in Mission, South Dakota as a seamstress in 1916.

In school documentation Louise Blue Sky's name is also spelled Louise Blueskye, Louise Bluesky, Louisa Bluesky, and Louisa Blueskye.
