Student file of Louisa Metoxen, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on November 25, 1885, and departed on April 21, 1887. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard in which she writes about selling bread she makes and sewing. The file also containsĀ a report after leaving indicating she was married and living in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1913.
Note: In this file the student's name appearsĀ both as Louisa Metoxen and Louise Metoxen. She writes back to the school under her married name Louisa Metoxen Denny.
