Louis Bero (Sa rot onwenoko) Student File

Student file of Louis Bero, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on September 12, 1906 and ultimately departed on June 8, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains applications for enrollment, correspondence, a federal financial aid form, an outing evaluation, a medical/physical record, certificates of promotion, an outing record, financial transactions, student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating Bero was living in Hogansburg, New York in 1910.

In school documentation Louis Bero's name is also spelled Lewis Bero and Louie Bero. He is also known as Sa rot onwenoko.

Note: Students Louis Bero and Peter Bero were probably brothers.
