The file indicates Poodry was living in Basom, New York in 1911, working as a upholster in Basom, New York and for Chief Thunderwater in Buffalo in 1912, working at Stein Bloch Tailor Co. in Rochester, New York in 1913.

In school documentation Lawrence Poodry is also known as Lawrence C. Poodry (also spelled Laurence C. Poodry) and Lawrence Clifford Poodry.
