Laura Browndog (Red House) Student File

Student file of Laura Browndog, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 11, 1901 and departed on June 27, 1906. The file contains correspondence, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a student information card, and a report after leaving indicating she was a housewife in Cherry Creek, South Dakota in 1914.

In school documentation Laura Browndog's name is also spelled Laura Brown Dog. She is also known as Red House. Her married name is Laura Eagle Staff, also spelled Laura Eaglestaff.

Note: Students James Browndog and Laura Browndog were probably siblings.
