Student file of Joseph Tarbell, a member of the Iroquois Nation, who entered the school on August 10, 1901 and ultimately departed on November 19, 1910. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, newspaper clippings, applications for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, a former student response postcard, letters/correspondence mainly related to the Ford Motor Works, and a report after leaving.
The file indicates Tarbell was playing professional baseball in the New York State league in Albany, New York in 1911, and was farming in Hogansburg, New York in 1914.
Note: These documents were found filed at the U.S. National Archives in the same folder as documents related to a different Joseph Tarbell.
