Janette Woods (Pah-go-stat-un) Student File

Student file of Janette Woods, a member of the Apache Nation, who entered the school on November 4, 1886 and departed on November 4, 1895. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and report after leaving indicating that Woods married James Russell and was a housewife in Fort Still, Oklahoma in 1910.

In school documentation Janette Woods' name is also spelled Jeanette Woods. She is also known as Janette Pahgostatum, Janette Pahgostatum Woods, Pah-go-stat-un, Pahgostatum and Pah go stat un. Her married name is Janette Russell (Mrs. James Russell). A researcher has also identified them as Jeanette Pagostetahn.
