James Crowe Student File

Student file of James Crowe, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on September 12, 1906 and ultimately departed on February 8, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, progress/conduct cards, correspondence, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, a report after leaving, an outing record, and a news clipping. The file indicates that Crowe was a laborer in Porcupine, South Dakota in 1911 and working as a farmer and stock raising in Allen, South Dakota in 1915.

In school documentation James Crowe's name is also spelled James Crow and James L. Crowe.
