Fred Blythe Student File

Student file of Fred Blythe, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on September 6, 1911 and ultimately departed on January 28, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains photographs, student information cards, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, progress/conduct cards from Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall), a federal financial aid form, a record of pupil at the Cherokee Indian School, financial transactions, an outing record, and correspondence.

The file indicates Blythe was active with the Boy Scots and YMCA at Carlisle, a captain of a company of boys in the Small Boys' Quarters, and enlisted with the Aviation section of the U.S. Service and was stationed at Kelly Field in San Antonio, Texas in 1918.

In school documentation Fred Blythe is also known as Fred B. Blythe, Fred Blythe Bauer, and Fred Bauer.
