Fred Big Horse (Big Horse) Student File

Student file of Fred Big Horse (Big Horse), a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on November 14, 1883 and ultimately graduated in 1893 and departed on March 6, 1893. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, correspondence, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1913 Big Horse was farming in Cutmeat, South Dakota. 

In school documentation Fred Big Horse's name is also spelled Fred Bighorse. He is also known as Frederick Martin Big Horse, Frederick Bighorse, and Big Horse.

Note: The student referred to here as Maurice Walker is also known as Maurice Yellow Hair.
