Emerson Metoxen Student File

Student file of Emerson Metoxen, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 26, 1914, and departed on June 14, 1918. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, outing evaluations, certificates of promotion, correspondence concerning Metoxen overcoming a mild case of appendicitis, outing records, and financial transactions. The records indicate that after leaving Carlisle, Metoxen worked at a shipyard in Wisconsin. 

In school documentation Emerson Metoxen's name is also spelled Emerson Metoxin.
