Ellen Hansel Student File

Student file of Ellen Hansel, a member of the Pit River Nation, who entered the school on August 31, 1882, and ultimately departed on July 8, 1889. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, correspondence, a returned student survey, photographs, a report after leaving, and a former student response postcard indicating Hansel was working as a housekeeper in Clinton, Oklahoma in 1913. 

In school documentation Ellen Hansel's name is also spelled Hellen Hansel, Ellen E. Hansell, and Helen Hansel. Her married name is Helen Hensel King (Mrs. Charles E. King).
