David Abraham Student File

Student file of David Abraham, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 7, 1889, graduated in 1900, and ultimately departed on April 11, 1901. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a returned student survey, former student response postcards, student information cards, a trade/position record card, correspondence about his life after Carlisle with his wife, and a report after leaving indicating Abraham was a shipping clerk in Hatboro, Pennsylvania in 1907 and working for the Santa Fe Railway Company in 1915. Abraham was married to former student Margaret Wilson.

In school documentation David Abraham's name is also spelled David H. Abraham, D. H. Abraham, and David Abrahams.
