Charles E. Dagenett Student File

Student file of Charles E. Dagenett, a member of the Peoria Nation, who entered the school on November 15, 1887, graduated in 1891, and ultimately departed on December 14, 1891. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, news clippings, photographs, returned student surveys, a report after leaving, and letters/correspondence.

The file indicates Dagenett attended Dickinson College in 1891; graduated from Eastman Business College in Poughkeepsie, New York; was the Supervisor of Indian Employment in Denver, Colorado in 1910; executive committee chairman of the American Indian Association in 1911; and was the Supervisor of Indian Employment at the Indian Office in Washington, D. C. in 1915.

In school documentation Charles E. Dagenett's name is also spelled C. E. Dagenett, Charles Dagenett, Charles Dagenette, Charles Dagnette, Charles E. Dagenette, Charles E. Dagnette, Charles Dagnett, and C. E. Dagnette.

Note: Dagenett married fellow student Esther Miller.
