Benjamin D. Penny Student File

Student file of Benjamin D. Penny, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on November 23, 1904 and departed on June 23, 1909. The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, a trade/position record card, news clippings, a returned student survey, photographs, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Penny won first prize for a display of cabbages at a county fair in Lewiston, Idaho in 1909, was a farmer in Kooskia, Idaho in 1909 and 1910 and stock raising in Kooskia, Idaho in 1913.

In school documentation Benjamin D. Penny's name is also spelled Benjamin Penney and Benjamin Penny.
