Alberta Bartholomeau Student File

Student file of Alberta Bartholomeau, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on March 30, 1909 and departed on November 28, 1910. The file contains an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a student information card, a returned student survey, letters/correspondence, a photograph, news clippings, an outing evaluation, a report after leaving, a progress/conduct card, and an outing record. The file indicates that Bartholomeau was employed at the Ft. Mojave Indian School in Arizona in 1910, as a seamstress at the Indian School and Kickapoo Mission in Horton, Kansas in 1911, and teaching music in Sparta, Illinois in 1912.

In school documentation Alberta Bartholomeau's name is also spelled Alberta Bartholomew and Alberta Bartholomiau.
