Office Informed John Mackey Willing to Transfer to Indian Office
March 12, 1907

William A. Mercer informs the Office of Indian Affairs that John F. Mackey is the only clerk at Carlisle who desires a transfer to the Indian Office. Mercer states that Laura B. Holderby of the Indian Office is willing to transfer to Carlisle and requests the opportunity to talk with her before arranging the transfer.

John F. Mackey Resigns as Clerk

John F. Mackey resigns as clerk at the Carlisle Indian School at the close of the 1907 fiscal year. William A. Mercer forwards the resignation to the Office of Indian Affairs with the recommendation that it be accepted.
