Robert American Horse (Cut Ears) Student File

Student file of Robert American Horse, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and ultimately departed on June 14, 1887. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, a report after leaving, a returned student survey and a news clipping. The file indicates American Horse stockman in Manderson, South Dakota in 1910 and a farmer in Kyle, South Dakota in 1912.
