Letters Sent (Jan. 26 - Mar. 21, 1901)

The second volume of the Letters Sent series includes copies of letters sent by Richard Henry Pratt to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, field officials of the Bureau, students, parents, and others who were involved with the school. The letters are arranged chronologically and relate to a number of different subjects, including enrollment, transportation to the school, personnel matters, and purchasing supplies. The first section of this volume includes an alphabetical index to names of addressees. Pages without content were not photographed. The Letters Sent series comprise 2 volumes, which are located at the National Archives and Records Administration, Record Group 75, Series 1323.
