Note: In this file the student's name appears as Rachel Penny and after she is married as Rachel Penny Arthur.

Student file of Sarah Monteith, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on September 24, 1902, graduated in 1917, and ultimately departed on May 29, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, a photograph, medical/physical records, correspondence, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, a former student response postcard, a trade/position record card, a federal financial aid form, and certificates of promotion. The file indicates that after graduating Monteith returned home to Kamiah, Idaho and married Harry Moffett, a member of the Nez Perce Nation.

Note: In this file the student is referred to as Sarah Celia Monteith, Sarah Monteith, Sarah Montieth, and Celia Monteith.

Salina Twoguns Student File

Student file of Salina Twoguns, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on October 19, 1902, graduated in 1910, and ultimately departed April 2, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a returned student survey, an outing evaluation, an outing record, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Twoguns began working in the Indian Service as a boys' matron in Greenville, California in April of 1911 and then returned to her home in Gowanda, New York.

Note: In the file the student is referred to as Selina Twoguns and Salina Twoguns

Anna Loren Student File

Student file of Anna Loren, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on November 24, 1904 and departed on June 20, 1910. A note in the file says she re-enrolled on October 10, 1910 but no final departure date is given. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, outing evaluations, a progress/conduct card, outing records, financial transactions, and correspondence. The file indicates Loren was living in Mount Holly, New Jersey in 1916 and 1917 and was living in Watertown, New York in 1918.

Note: This student is known as Anna Loren and Ann Loran.

Mary Amera Student File

Student file of Mary Amera, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on March 3, 1905, and departed on June 20, 1910. The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, applications of enrollment, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, a report after leaving, a news clipping, and correspondence written by her father regarding her. The file also contains a returned student survey from 1911 indicating she was living in Fort Lapwai, Idaho and attended Fort Lapwai Highschool after leaving Carlisle.

Note: In this file the student's name appears as Marry Amera, Harriet Amera, and Mary Amier.

Note: Other documentation states that Mary Amerca later married former student Caleb Carter.

The documents indicate that Wayman was living in Orleans Bar, California in 1910, working as a housekeeper in Palo Alto, California in 1911, and living in Orleans, California in 1913.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Olive Chisholm. Those documents have now been included with the Olive Chisholm file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 51, folder 2514.
