Henry Burton Student File

The file contains student information cards, a report after leaving, a progress card, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1910, Burton was working as a tailor in Kitchikan, Alaska.

Hulsie Seneca Student File

Student file of Hulsie Seneca, a member of the Cayuga Nation, who entered the school on September 6, 1908 and departed on February 8, 1911. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a physical record, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a conduct card, an outing evaluation, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1913 Seneca was a structural worker living in Irving, New York. 

Note: Other records show Seneca first enrolled at the school on August 8, 1905 and departed on July 11, 1906. At that time he was listed as a member of the Seneca nation.

Samuel Freemont Student File

Student file of Samuel Freemont, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1905 and departed on March 29, 1909. The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, applications for enrollment, financial transactions, a conduct card, a news clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1910 Freemont had entered the U. S. Navy and was aboard the U. S. S. Vermont.

Note: This student is known as Samuel Freemont and Samuel Fremont.

Eugene Beck Student File

Student file of Eugene Beck, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on October 3, 1906 and ultimately departed on September 30, 1910. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, a newspaper clipping, an outing record, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, a progress/conduct card, and a report after leaving indicating that Beck was farming in Birdtown, North Carolina in 1910.

Alexander Arcasa Student File

Student file of Alexander Arcasa, a member of the Colville Nation, who entered the school on October 21, 1906. No departure date is given. The file contains an outing record, a medical/physical record, trade/position record cards, correspondence, a progress/conduct card, a former student response postcard, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving indicating Arcasa was working as a shop hand in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1913.

Note: Students Alexander Arcasa and Joseph Arcasa were brothers.

Roy Duncan Student File

Student file of Roy Duncan, a member of the Pit River Nation, who entered the school on October 16, 1907 and departed on June 22, 1910. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains an outing record, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, student information cards, a progress/conduct card, trade/position record cards, and a newspaper clipping that indicates that Duncan was bailing hay in Covelo, California.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, one of the documents in this file seemed to relate to a different student, also named Roy Duncan. That document has now been included in the appropriate file for Roy Duncan; NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 151_folder 5890.

James Bradley Mumblehead Student File

Student file of James Bradley Mumblehead, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on March 4, 1908 and departed on September 5, 1913. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, outing records, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, correspondence, trade/position record cards, and a financial transaction. The file indicates Mumblehead was living in Almond, North Carolina in 1913.

Philip Welmas Student File

Student file of Philip Welmas, a member of the Mission Nation, who entered the school on November 16, 1908, and departed on April 9, 1917. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, an outing record, and letters/correspondence surrounding Welmas' completion of a course at the Ford Motor Company in 1917.

Note: in this file the student is identified as Philip Welmas, Philip Welmans, Philip Wellmas, and Philip Wellmans.

Note: A document of Philip Welmas was originally found in the folder of another student, Gus Sackatuck, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 112_folder 4663.
