David Masten Student File

Student file of David Masten, a member of the Klamath Nation, who entered the school on July 26, 1897, and departed on July 3, 1902.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Masten was working as a farmer and carpenter in Hoopa, California in 1910.

George Willard Student File

Student file of George Willard, a member of the Alaskan Nation, who entered the school on April 21, 1898, and departed on February 8, 1905.  The file contains student information cards, a photograph attached to a returned student survey, correspondence, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that, from 1913 to 1917, Willard was working as a printer in Syracuse, New York.

In a postcard sent back to the school in 1913 Willard identified himself as a member of the Chinook or Puyallup nation. He wrote: "Upon entering the school was enrolled as an Alaskan which was my mistake by not knowing of my real tribe so please rectify the mistake as my home is Seattle Washington according to my present knowledge."

Student information card of Chauncey Charles, a member of the Stockbridge Nation, who entered the school on May 16, 1901, graduated in 1906, and departed on March 25, 1906.

Andrew Hayes Student File

Student file of Andrew Hayes, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on February 10, 1903, and departed on June 30, 1907. The file contains a student information card, a news clipping about Hayes' trip to Europe, correspondence, and a returned student survey indicating that Hayes was working as a farmer and rancher in Kamiah, Idaho in 1912.

Roy Tarbell Student File

Student file of Roy Tarbell, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on October 13, 1908 and ultimately departed on October 2, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, trade/position record cards, a former student response postcard, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, a report after leaving, a news clipping, an outing record, and correspondence. The file indicates Tarbell worked at a candy factory in Hershey, Pennsylvania and was a helper at the Morris Machine Works a machine shop in Baldwinsville, New York in 1914
